The North Metro Master Naturalist Chapter meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm unless otherwise stated in the schedule. The Chapter's has gone to Hybrid Meetings in the winter due to Covid-19 and the flu, which means the meetings are usually head on Zoom. Starting in 2023, in person meetings will be held at the Wargo Nature Center, located at 7701j Main Street, Lino Lakes, MN 55038. Please check the Home Page and the Schedule of Activities Page for current information. Email Kathy Sidels for a link to the Zoom Meeting. No meeting is held in the month of May due to the annual conference.
The format of the meetings includes... 1. Social Time & Annoucements-6:30pm to 7:00pm 2. Guest Speaker-7:00pm to 8:30pm 3. Questions or Other Business-8:30pm to 9:00pm Driving Directions to Wargo Nature Center (Summer and Fall Home): From the North or South Metro on I-35W: Take I-35W to Lino Lakes. Take Exit 36 for County Highway 23. Use the left two lanes to turn onto County Highway 23 (also known as Lake Drive), which heads north for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto 125th Avenue/Main Street. Drive 1.9 miles and turn right onto "G" Street. Proceed approximately 1 mile to the nature center, which is on a dead end road at the northeast corner of George Watch Lake. From the East Metro on I-35E: Take I-35E to Lino Lakes. Take Exit 123B (County Highway 14 West), also known as Main Street heading towards Centerville, MN. Main Street curves north and runs between Peltier Lake to the north and Centerville Lake to the south and the distance is 4.2 miles. Turn left on "G" Street, which is located on the left side of the highway, across the road from the YMCA Day Camp Heritage. The nature center is located approximately 1 mile on a dead end road at the northeast corner of George Watch Lake. |

Dues:
For 2024 no dues will be collected. Donations are always accepted and appreciated. Only people who are Certified Master Naturalists may vote in chapter elections. Please click on the button below for a print and mail Membership Form. This form may also be used if you would like to make a donation to the chapter. |
